A Public Declaration of Faith: Water Baptism
Believers take a public step of faith through water baptism, surrounded by a church family gathered to pray, encourage, and celebrate new life in Christ.
Water baptism is a joyful and meaningful step of obedience for every believer who chooses to follow Jesus. In the open water, surrounded by pastors, ministry leaders, and friends, believers made a public declaration of their faith and testified to the new life they have received in Christ.
The day was also a picture of the church walking together. Family and friends stood nearby to witness each baptism, offer encouragement, and celebrate what God is doing. Their presence was a reminder that while faith is personal, no believer is called to grow alone.
After gathering at the water, the church family continued in prayer and fellowship. Sharing a meal gave everyone time to welcome, encourage, and rejoice with those who had taken this important step. Together, the day reflected the life of the church: worshiping Christ, supporting one another, and giving thanks for His transforming grace.
Please pray for those who were baptized. Ask God to strengthen their faith, root them deeply in His Word, and surround them with a loving church community. Pray also for the pastors and ministry leaders who will continue to guide and disciple them as they grow in their walk with Christ.
