Ezra Christian Ministry for Peace is organized
The ministry begins with a mission and vision to reach less fortunate children in the CSRA and in the Philippines, especially in Mindanao.
Founders
Ezra Christian Academy & Ministry for Peace was founded by missionaries Henry and Mila Walker to reach children and families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Christian teaching, and practical care.
Serving in the Philippines, Henry and Mila have spent decades ministering to local communities, establishing churches, and providing educational support.
Origin story
The Ezra Christian Ministry for Peace, Inc. was organized in December 2003 with a mission and vision to reach less fortunate children in the Philippines, particularly on the island of Mindanao. In January 2004, the word "Academy" was added to the ministry name.
The ministry's focus is soul winning, teaching the Holy Scripture, and extending social services. As an academy, ECAMPI is envisioned as a "school without walls" as the ministry goes out to preach and teach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to whosoever will hear.
Ministry journey
The ministry story is rooted in evangelism, teaching, and practical care for children and families in need.

Continuing
The ministry is registered as a nonprofit organization in the State of Georgia, USA, and with the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Philippines as Ezra Ministry for Peace.
Mission
ECAMPI's mission is grounded in Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus Christ calls His people to go, teach all nations, baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and teach obedience to all He commanded.
The ministry serves because Christ commanded His people to be witnesses for Him. Those who have strength and maturity are called to care for the young, tender, and weak, serving in God's will and for His glory.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Matthew 28:19
Statement of faith
These convictions shape the ministry's preaching, teaching, service, and fellowship.
Vision
The primary thrust of this ministry is to open opportunities for clients who are at risk socially or economically. Ezra Ministry seeks to develop programs that offer practical solutions to real needs while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Christian fellowship.
