Some of the most meaningful ministry happens away from a platform, in the familiar surroundings of a family home. During visits with church members and their families, Missionary Henry Walker and Mila Walker spent time listening, encouraging believers, opening the Bible, and praying with those they came to see.
The photographs show families gathered in simple rooms and outdoor home spaces. An open Bible rests on the table as people sit together. In another home, adults and children bow their heads in prayer. These are quiet scenes, but they reveal an important part of discipleship: being present with people personally, making room for their concerns, and bringing the hope of Scripture into everyday life.
Home visitation allows ministry relationships to deepen. A worship service gathers the whole church, while a visit creates time for conversation and careful listening. Henry and Mila can encourage believers in their walk with Christ, share biblical teaching suited to the moment, and pray with families where they live. The families, in turn, extend hospitality and share their lives, strengthening the bonds of fellowship within the church community.
This kind of ministry does not depend on elaborate surroundings. It is built through trust, prayer, God’s Word, and a willingness to sit together. Personal visits help church members know that they are remembered and valued, especially when they are carrying concerns that may be difficult to share in a larger gathering. They also give children and younger family members a close view of believers caring for one another in faith.
For ECAMPI, visitation is part of the patient work of discipleship. Relationships become stronger through repeated presence, and biblical encouragement becomes tangible when it is offered face to face. Please pray that each family visited will continue to grow in Christ, that church relationships will remain strong, and that Henry and Mila will have wisdom and strength as they serve from home to home.
